Common Issues
1. No power to system
Ensure power cable is connected, the cable to the brick is fully engaged, and the plug switched on at the mains.
2. System does not home
When powered on the internal LED will flash while the systems boots and homes. Should the internal LED continue to flash with no movement for an extended period of time then the user should ensure the pipette module is present and fully engaged.
3. Pipette tip clashes with tip object
Check the tip rack object has been inserted in the correct orientation. When backwards the pipette module will collide with the tip wafer and stall instead of engaging with the tip.
If the pipette module is engaging with a tip but stalling ensure the correct tip cone adaptor has been fitted to the pipette module. The 50 and 250uL modules should have the longer tip cone adaptor and the 1000uL module the shorter.
4. Pipette tip clashes with object
Check the calibration of the motors using the calibration plate and recalbrate where required.
Check any items have been fully seated in their holders.

5. Unable to find i.prep on network
Check with your network administrator that no firewalls or anti-virus applications are blocking connections. Where it continues to be undiscoverable on the local network enable standalone mode and directly connect to the i.prep WiFi network.
6. Poor pipetting engagement/performance
Only use verified pipette tips listed in the Pipette Module Specification.
