The Guided Multi-Dispense operation is a hands-off alternative to the “Advanced Multi-Dispense”. This operation gives you a simple and automated way to follow the Multi-Dispense best practices guide.

In Guided Multi-Dispense, you select your source, destination(s), and input the volume you want to transfer then Guided Multi-Dispense will automatically calculate the rest.

By default, Guided Multi-Dispense enables pre-wetting of the tip – so when a new tip is retrieved, 90% of its capacity will be aspirated and dispensed. This is an optional step, which can be disabled by turning off the “Pre-Wet Tip” toggle.

By default, Guided-Multi dispense uses Liquid Level Detection to determine what depth to aspirate from. Both the pre-wetting and transfer steps can be independently configured.

Guided Multi-Dispense is the simplest way to perform a multi-dispense transfer or set of transfers – for more granular control, consider using the “Advanced Multi-Dispense” operation.
